PC Speed Maximizer has two serious useability flaws. It only found 89 of the 180 registry errors. I also received a late and unhelpful reply from their email support team.
My final recommendation is to avoid this program.

PC Speed Maximizer Editor Review
Introduction
PC Speed Maximizer touts that it will 'Keep your computer Running Like New...' - well I decided to test its ability to do just that, read on for the results.
Ease of Use
Performing a bunch of system tweaks is effortless. Simply click the 'Start Scan' button from the 'Home' tab. However, if you just want to perform a standalone registry clean then go to the 'Registry' tab.
PC Speed Maximizer can perform are registry clean, privacy clean, residual file clean, startup optimization and performance boost - now that is a mouth full.
When the scan is complete it presents a report that lists the total number of errors found, and it breaks the errors into subcategories. Click 'More info' to get additional information on each individual error.
PC Speed Maximizer almost got a perfect score when it came to user-friendliness, but then it went and did two major things wrong.
The first wrong thing – it placed the registry backup and recovery options in a very obscure and hard to find location. They are located under the tab 'About' and then a sub-tab 'Log/Undo', and then you have to click a radio button 'Undo files' – which is poorly named to boot as you can only undo registry file changes, so a better name would be 'Undo Registry Changes'.
The second wrong thing – PC Speed Maximizer has a startup manager, but you can only access it by doing a full scan, there is no menu option to navigate immediately to the startup manager.
Features
Registry Cleaner – optimizes registry settings to improve performance and fix errors.
Privacy Cleaner – deletes the history of websites you have visited, deletes cookies and other temporary internet files.
Junk File Cleaner – locates space-wasting files that you do not need and removes them to free up space.
Performance Boost – is a range of tweaks that may improve the speed of the computer. Example of a tweak you adjust is 'Enable Prefetcher', which apparently speeds up loading applications.
Manage start up - remove unnecessary programs from starting.
Undo – this feature can be used to undo previous registry cleans with PC Speed Maximizer.
Performance
The trial version is limited to scan only. Buying PC Speed Maximizer is required to fix errors.
The first scan found and repaired 212 registry problems and 18 privacy files. It also identified 24 performance & optimization settings that it can adjust in an effort to improve the speed of the computer.
If you are a regular on FindTheReview.com, you will know I thoroughly test everything. I inserted a further 180 registry errors and ran a registry scan, PC Speed Maximizer performed poorly, it only found half of them, or to be more specific 89 out of 180.

Directly in the program in the lower-right hand corner you can click 'Help' to gain access to helpful information on PC Speed Maximizer.
Conclusion
PC Speed Maximizer failed to find half the registry problems, and has two serious ease of use defects.
I'm also frustrated by the late and unhelpful response from email support.
My overall opinion of this program is poor. I conclude you should give this registry cleaner a miss.
